The Atlantic Ocean and the East Coast of Florida is home to Captain Garett Yarbrough, and it has been his entire life. Garett started as a full-time mate on a deep-sea fishing charter boat at the age of fifteen and hasn’t quit fishing since. He has chased sport fish all over the world including the East Coast of the United States, the Caribbean Sea, and Central and South America. Captain Garett Yarbrough has many great achievements in the world of offshore sport fishing, but more importantly, he has a deep passion and understanding of fishing the Atlantic Ocean. Captain Garett Yarbrough now has his own charter fishing business which is a 31 foot Contender called Hittin’ Bottom charters, which can be found at Little Jim’s Bait and Tackle in Fort Pierce Florida.
In an effort to get more youth involved in our club, all children of paid club members under the age of 16 are given a complimentary raffle ticket at our monthly meetings. The winning child is allowed to pick out a rod and reel combo at White’s Tackle, up to a $500 value!!! Our next meeting is July 17th at 6:30 PM at the Fort Pierce Yacht Club. If you are not a current member and would like to join to participate in this promotion, we are running a membership special. Our membership dues for 2024/2025 will be $100 per family and are due October 1st. Any new members joining in the months of July, August, and September can pay $100 for membership that will run until the end of September 2025, essentially giving you July, August, and September 2024 for free and allowing your child the chance to win their rod and reel combo from White’s Tackle.
