The South Atlantic Marine Fisheries Council has announced the following Recreational closures:
- The recreational harvest of the snapper-grouper deep-water complex in South Atlantic federal waters will close at 12:01 a.m., local time, December 11, 2019.
- The deep-water complex consists of Yellow Edge Grouper, Silk Snapper, Misty Grouper, Queen Snapper, Sand Tilefish, and Blackfin Snapper.
- Recreational harvest will open at 12:01 a.m., local time, on January 1, 2020
